![]() It is a long term gameplay where your character will need build relationship along he build armies and gear.įirst of all, to repair your ships you need go to a city with docks, put your ships inside the city, then go to the docs and take a loot at your own ships, there you can sell, repair or even paint.ġ: Recruit companions and send they in missions to promote you with "Right of Rule". Have your own reign in MBVC (Mount & Blade Viking Conquest) is not simple task. Hello dude!!! My english is not good but let me try help you. Any pointers for what to do in that situation? I couldn't go do anything else and just thought, "Well, this sucks." and stopped there. It was a never ending stream of infinite armies. The thing that got me to stop playing was when I finally got my own town or village, the enemy sent wave after wave of armies to raid or take it. I also didn't know how to repair them, I think. I didn't know you had to repair your boat and I remember it just randomly died out from under me. I didn't like the boats stuff in it though. There was a lot of awesome things going for that game. Right before the battle, it would say they entered a trance, then start snarling and going crazy. The Berserkers (I think they were called?) were fantastic. ![]() I loved that there were some troops that would seek you out and want to join your party. I loved the way your soldiers hit their shields while standing idle. In any case, I just kind of wanted to get that off my chest lol, and maybe get some opinions on this, so what do you all think? I do hope, that TW will seriously consider doing more historical DLC-s, plenty of historical chapters to choose from, but some examples i'd name would definitely be Ancient Rome, in the Republic period, the Migration Era like Total War : Attila was based in ( there's a mod being worked on for this era, i think it's called The Burning Empires, or something like that), then Crusades, of course, in fact, there's a mod for this too "In the name of Jerusalem II".Īnd again, I do hope they remaster VC in Bannerlord, i know for myself and plenty of other people would appreciate that. Of course, I'm aware of the many issues that VC had, especially in the early days, and i hate saying it but it still left some things to be desired, but those things were more game engine limitation related i think, like a bigger map, which included Franks, and Kievan Rus for example. Reputation mattered, influence mattered, money mattered, your actual skill and cunning in some situations mattered. Oh and also for berserkers, you needed to be a well known warlord to employ their service. I loved how you needed to actually be a famous warrior to buy premium gear, or to be really good in general to fight one of those "mini-bosses" like the Bandit King in Norway for example. And my God, buying a boat was one hell of a feat. Bandit party after bandit party, quest after quest. I remember that my favorite thing about the gameplay was this constant feeling of getting better, and really earning each piece of gear, like it really needed you to work for that helmet. I just think that was an amazing piece of detail they threw in there, and of course that one quest with the Irish noble woman, who was protected by warriors with wolf skins. Then from time to time you would get actual historical information about certain places like the stone circles, or abandoned Roman villas. And my God, the music was fantastic and it just helped to bring across that rough feel of the game, but rough in a positive way. The atmosphere was dark, moist and there was just something to it that really immersed me. There was something about the atmosphere of that DLC that pulled me in like very few games. I'll mention the 2 elements that really made me remember that DLC and in general have lots of fun, Immersion and Progression. I remember buying Warband because of Viking Conquest and I remember that I, as a history enthusiast, really appreciated every single detail I could spot. Can we all just stop for a second to appreciate how GOOD Viking Conquest was?
